Hi CtV,

After 22 Minutes downloadind (dial up) the 5,40 MB, I am going to wait to
installed, so far no problems with 10.0.3.0

Remember - if it ain't broke - don't fix it.

October 9, 2006: Revision 10.0.5
Thanks to feedback from all our members we're releasing a maintenance
release version of WinPatrol 10. Upgrading to 10.0.5 is not required unless
you have experienced problems addressed in the list below.

WinPatrol registry functions enhanced to handle over-zealous registry
cleaners.
Improper use of Registry Cleaners can cause Scotty to repeatedly ask
permission for system changes.

Build Tools updated to Microsoft Visual Studios 2005.
In theory, this shouldn't break anything. Adds a few KB to the program size
but so far benchmarks indicate faster performance.

PLUS Tab Search available on Free versions to support future promotions.
When you click on the PLUS tab there's a input box that allows you to search
on any program name. This is now displayed on Free versions so it will be
available in the future.

Our alternate Installshield Setup program is now used as our default setup.
This version is slightly larger than our original default setup but is more
compatible with newer systems.

Thanks any way

I just installed the new WinPatrol and it seems to work fine. I really can't
tell any difference yet, except in the installer package.

Hi Paul,

I think with the updates of today, the problem accesing the support KB is
been resolved.

Try it.

Good luck

Hi, Engel. If you're talking about the Microsoft KB support, I haven't had
any problems this week with them. I uninstalled IE7 last week and ended up
having to reinstall Windows. Right now I'm back to IE6 and I have swapped
out One Care for KIS 6.0. Something unknown had corrupted my Windows, IE,
and AOL software, but all is well now. I just installed today's updates and
am hoping they don't "break" anything. LOL
