Hello,
First thanks to iJustine for mentioning E3 coverage on her website otherwise
I would have missed it, I had new idea it was going on 1
=D
Anyway I followed the whole thing live.
I wrote a little review in the comments section on iJustine's website which
I won't repeat her but I will tell you some short version of it, which I
shall call:
"Winners of E3 Day1"
1. The most amazing gameplay was:
The new Tomb Raider with Lara Croft. She's fighting for survival, she is
hurt, she is moaning, what more do you want from a virtual girl ?! =D
^ Definetly an awesome must see video.
2. The most amazing CG was:
Assassins creeds, sometimes I almost believed it was real footage.
3. The most amazing and best presentation was:
Ubisoft (though I only saw the end part of Microsoft's presentation)
Ubisoft's presentation was butter smooth and fun to watch, and so was there
new game rayman, stunning 2d game.
The worst of the show was "sony"... I am sorry to diss them... but they were
late, they were rude, and they were very messy... sometimes even a bit too
lengthy... like the chinees... the section about vita was waaayyyy tooo
long, I almost feel asleep there... after 10 hours of watching all this
stuff !
Though I am glad I saw all of it...
Of yeah there is another game on my watch list:
4. Techland's "dead island" seems like an awesome somewhat bloody zombie
shooter in paradise ! =D
(I think these are the same awesome dudes that created call of juarez but I
am not sure)
5. The most disappointing of the show was:
Battlefield 3, the tank scene was boring, though graphically it was pretty
beautifull, especially the dust, the sand in the air, the fire and the
stealth bombers, the sand on the ground, the sun...
However for an action game like Battlefield 2 it disappointed. Battlefield 3
should have shown more action to convince the Call of Duty crowd that
Battlefield 3 is the superior game.
It totally failed to convince and I am disappointed about that... it's
actually slightly worrieing... perhaps the game is not as good as most would
hope... I am starting to suspect that it might actually be a fail or
boring...
Perhaps people are bored with "iraq" like wars... so I would not be too
surprised if bf3 spectacularly fails.
Tomorrow nintendo will present a new console.
My bet for game of the year goes to: Tomb Raider Lara Croft... (don't know
exactly titel yet)
This game had me hanging on the edge of my seat as I said... I hope the
entire game will be like that... I fear it will not though...
I hope Lara Craft will get hurt more... I'm loving the blood... I'm loving
the moaning.... I wanna hear her moan the whole game ! =D With some
little breaks in between so she can catch her breath ! =D And then moan
and bleed some more ! =D
^^^ Survival all the way baby ! =D ^^^
(And I am not even a tombraider fan, though I am a Lara Croft minor fan
because of nice movies... but I am fan now ! Wieeeee! =D)
