Hello,
I use outlook 2002 to automatic answer to a lot of mails.
Some of the replys I send are converted by outlook in
rtf format. It appears even if I check the text only checkbox
in the recipient preferences. My global preferences are
also checked text only.
When I create the answer, I add an attachement and then
force the msg.body to a plain text string... but it appears not
to change anything.
Could somebody tell me how to keep the text format and so
I will be able to talk to non m$ users.
Thanks for any help.

Hello,

This was a major problem in Outlook 2000: see MS Knowledge
Base: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=222248

This article tells you how to fix the problem in Outlook
2002 and later: use the BodyFormat property to
programmatically switch between mail formats.

See the above article and the Outlook 2002 VBA Help for
more on using BodyProperty and HTMLBodyProperty.

OH, I made a mistake, I use outlook 2000,
and I have to understand that there is no way
to programatically resolve the problem!
Thanks for the help.
