winlogon extra cpu activity

hi,
sometimes, the winlogon.exe create use CPU activity
without any reason and don't stop using it.
i have to reboot to clear this bug
i have also continuous disk acces during the same period

what can i do ?

This is definately not a virus! I just performed a clean
install on a computer and everything worked fine until I
installed all of the "Critical Updates". After that my
computer does exactly the same thing as yours, except mine
takes upto 10 minutes to startup or shutdown.

Does anyone know which "Critical Update" is causing this
problem?
