How can I tell if the copy of winlogon.exe is a secure,
untampered with version? My McAfee firewall prevented
access to the internet today (10-23-03) by this app (which
has a date of 7-17-03) because it didn't recognize this
app. Why would this app want access to the internet
today, and not before? And why would McAfee not be aware
of a valid Microsoft app? Can anyone explain what this
app does, and can I get a trusted version from Microsoft
to replace the one I've got? Thanks.
