I know the 0x0000007B as been discussed again and again, but would like to
know if its impossible to run the basic Winlogon Sample Macro on my stb, is
there a solution or I'm wasting my time...

I'm currently using a Jetway J7F2 Mini-ITX platform and have been trying for
the last 24 hours to find a solution.

Thank you

Martin

Hi, can you install XP-Pro on it or boot Disk 1 (which substitutes as a
WinPE disk) on this STB? If so, please attach the PMQ from this HW platform
so we might be able to provide some advice. BTW, if you can install Pro (or
usually WinPE as well) then you can also get XPe on it.

I looked at the pmq, looks like you have everything in your default DB for
the drivers except 2:
Vinal AC '97
VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP

Not sure what the second one is, a video adapter? If so, this shouldn't be
the reason for your 7B.

You mentioned SATA, did you componentize it, include it in the configuration
you built? Ideally you would install the HW, then run full XP-Pro setup on
it, run TAP to capture all the SATA drivers and then import that resulting
PMQ into your configuration.

Take care

Something that may be worth mentioning - I've had issues with some VIA
boards where using the VIA PCI bus drivers made everything go spannery,
and the image worked fine using the standard microsoft ones worked fine.

Thank you all. I guess I shuold have tried the VIA Bus Master included with
XPe instead of my VIA SATA Bust Master v1.40. It's working. I will send
email to VIA so they can try to fix it. Can I had the devmgmt.msc component
to play with my devices driver?

Now that I have a working target, lets start to play!
