Everytime I start IE6 I get a message that wininit.dll caused an error and IE
will close. Moving this window to the side allows IE to work normally but I
would still like to fix this. Have checked for spyware, viruses, hijacks and
have run SFC. Have also tried to run repair on IE and have tried info from
several MS/KB's. Have also replaced the dll from a known good system. Still
no luck. Would appreciate any help. Thanks, Ken

Sorry, it's Win/XP Home and the error refers to wininet.dll, not wininit.dll.
I'm pretty sure it had the most recent updates for XP and IE just before
this started. Thanks again, Ken
