Hi,
I 've read many articles about the Wininet FTP API on Pocket PC / CE.NET
from the newsgroups. Some saying that the Wininet FTP API works whereas some
saying that the Wininet FTP API doesn't work. And from my experience, both
sides are correct. The FTP API works well in most cases, with the exception
that when connecting to the Ftp server using ActiveSync, the FtpPutFile will
not work (i.e. if using wireless lan, FtpPutFile also works well!).
Can someone make some clarications for Wininet FTP APIs on Pocket PC /
CE.NET?
- Did anyone succeed to use the Wininet FTP API?
- Did anyone succeed to use the Wininet FTP API via ActiveSync?
- Did MS announce any official answer saying if the Wininet FTP API works or
not?
- Are there any extra works to be done when using Wininet FTP with
ActiveSync?
Thanks,
Thomas
