Hello, we are having a strange problem and thought I would see if anyone
could provide some insight.
We have a winform app deployed via the "No-Touch Deployment" model. The
problem is that we have 1 user (so far) who is navigating to it from a web
page (we actually do a window.open from the web page), and they just get a
blank Internet Explorer page. Now, if you refresh the page, it actually
seems to display the binary characters of the exe. It appears that IE is not
handing off to IEExec.exe, because if the user actually runs IEExec.exe <URL
to the exe>, the application starts up.
I have no idea what to do in this situation except re-install either the
Framework or Internet Explorer. Any ideas? I couldn't find anything on
google.
Details:
Framework Version: 1.1
Operating System: Windows 2000 (latest service packs, etc.)
IE Version: 5.5 (I know it has a service pack)
Thanks for any help or ideas.
