a check Spybot and MS come up clean, however whenever I run AOL's it shows I
have 1 problem - it is titled WINFIX - MALWARE - threat = HIGH. if i select
block and or delete it it always comes up. This has started just this week, I
don't know what to do

Hi Danny
You could have a problem that's not being detected by MSAS or Spybot, let me
refer you to a thread on this same forum.

You might want to try a few other Anti-spyware onlines scans first as suggested
in that thread, but be prepared to eventually wind up running HijackThis and
have your situation resolved in one of the HijackThis forums if it does turn out
AOL is right... AOL beating MSAS, interesting! Make sure your MSAS signatures
are up to date first before you go any further. Whatever you do, don't use any
Anti-spyware advertized by WINFIX... it's bogus

I too get this bugger of a bug along with another called naughtypops.
aol supplies the following information.
