Winfax DDE support

I'm having difficulty in establishing a DDE connection
from within my Access container to Winfax Pro. All I'm
trying to accomplish is to launch a winfax session and
pass it some attachments. I've gone thru the DDE help in
both Access and Winfax. Ambiguous at best. I seem to be
able to establish the DDE channel but any attempts at
poking data end up with Errors saying that the application
could not execute the request.

If you are using a recent version of WinFax, such as Version 10, and Access 97,
or later, I would suggest that you do this using automation rather than DDE. The
WinFax CD (in version 10) contains the WinFax SDK that can help you do this. See

Thanks for the reply. Looks as if the sdk for Winfax
contains all that I'm looking for. Now I just have to
