I was trying to set up a Windows 2000 Professional machine
that was running WinFax 10.02 so that the user could log
in to her machine. Unfortunately, I was unable to get
WinFax to distinguish between fax and data calls. Every
time I attempted to dial in while WinFax was running it
would pick up the line. If I shut down WinFax I'm able to
dial in properly, but I don't want my fax line to be down
all weekend.
Symantec references that Caller Discrimination is not
included in Windows 2000.
Does anyone have a workaround for this?
Thank you for your assistance!
