WinExec failed: return=87 error message

Hi,
When I try to install a purchased and downloaded program I
get the following error message while the installshield
self-extracting exe attempts to extract the installation
files: "WinExec failed: return =87."

Oddly, when I burned the downloaded program to CD and tried
to install the program off the CD I had no problem.

Can anyone tell me why I get this error message?
