windwos picture and fax viewer?

I use Windows Picture and Fax Viewer sometimes to view my pictures. I have
a 5mp digital camera and when I take pictures that size, when I view them
with WPFV and try to zoom in, it takes at least 2-3sec to zoom. Is there
anyway to speed this up? would have thought that pc was just slowbut if I
view the same file in photoshop 7 and zoom it works just fine.

The Windows Picture and Fax Viewer is a plain vanilla program for displaying
images. It's there for people who do not have a program installed to view
images. Don't expect it to compete with something like PS.
