through 3 or 4 stages of burning.1st=making movie
2nd=formating movie and 3rd=burning to cd.
however it wont let me get past making movie before it
freezes and comes up with a pop-up saying,

(something like)an error has occured and windvd has to
shut down,we appologise for the
inconvenience...bla...bla..bla...

please help as its got beyond a joke now!!!any
ideas...anyone????

Hi there,

There is obviously a bottle neck somewhere on your system. There is an
FAQ and Tutorial about Disk drives and in particular speed (On my web-site)
You may also want to go to the links page of my site and grab WinDV from the
video section. WinDV has just two functions...it can grab DV video from a
camera or it can put DV quality back on to your camera.

When looking at the FAQ on my site I recommend you look at the
description of what to do when capturing from your camera...the same applies
of course when you are trying to put video back onto your camera.

With regard to Movie Maker freezing, this "might" be a codec error (only
might be) To eliminate that as an issue, you are welcome to download the
free utility called "Rename Codecs" from my web site (There is also a
tutorial on how to use it on my site (That will take about one minute to
read...the program is very easy to use)

Please ask again if you need any further help.

Best Wishes.....John Kelly
