Has anyone had experience with WinDriver? Does it really write drivers?

I can't install my
3com 10/100 + 56k mini PCI combo card
in my IBM T20
and want to find out if it can somehow write the drivers for it.

Thanks for any information .

Publisher's Description
WinDriver is a C/C++ toolkit for accessing hardware without having to write
device drivers. You can write once, and it will run on all of these
platforms. No kernel or OS knowledge is required. WinDriver uses wizards to
diagnose your hardware and automatically generate your driver code. It
includes support for PLX, Altera, Cypress, QuickLogic, National
Semiconductor, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments, Xilinx, PLDA and AMCC
chipsets. WinDriver also provides extended support for Windows Driver Model
(WDM), Plug-and-Play and Power Management.

Why not just download it and find out?

I doubt that anyone here can give you a definitive answer.

Larry-

Are you the guy who wrote about the 3C562 a few days ago?

<Re: driverless hardware on the HCL>

Did you try the stuff I told you to try?

Did it not work?
