Have wondered for a long time, never bothered to find out. Why are some
files listed in a blue font, others in a black font, in Windoze Explorer?
Thanks!

You cannot use Google (or any other Internet search engine), but "Windows"
qualifies to be "Windoze" by you? *grin*

Won't over-complicate things for you...

http://www.google.com/search?q=Windows+Blue+Font

Short: They are compressed files, likely from a setting you have in place
and they are not used all that often so they have been automatically
compressed to save space.

Thanks for the reply. My bad, just didn't think of Googling for this.

Oh, you wanted help but first you slam the product that YOU chose to install
on your host. Uh huh. No, I'm not Microsoft but this is a community of
Microsoft users that you slammed by association. Grow up. Use the OS that
best fits your needs. If it ain't Windoze then go use Linsucks. Tit for
tat.
