WindowsXPHome no domain option

I am trying to connect a toshiba sattilite laptop to a
domain but can not find anywhere to do this. Right click
on my computer properties computer name does not have an
option but for workgroup. I wanna go home please help.

Windows XP Home cannot log onto a domain normally. It would seem possible to allow XP Home join a domain this way using X-Setup. Details are shown in the link below.

Your other option would be to upgrade to XP Pro.
