Almost every time I reboot my computer it "finds new
hardware" and wants to reload the driver for my Lexmark
X73 Printer/Scanner. This printer is difficult enought to
load the driver for the first time and now it wants to
load it again? Anyone have any solutions? My Printer
Scanner works fine and nothing seems to be wrong with it.

I own a lexmark X85 and i have the same problem. Don't
worry about it, it does no harm as long as you turn the
printer on before you boot up, you will still get the new
hardware message, but you can still print away happily.
hope this is of some help.

Ryan,
Are you connecting by USB?
If so, uninstall then start again like this. Disconnect the printer.
Install the software from the install CD., then reboot.
When the Windows desktop is back again, power up the printer, connect the
USB cable and Windows will finish the install.
Since using this method (and I think that's the instructions on the tin)
I've not had any further problem with USB devices.
Hope this helps,
Chek
