All caps = screaming.
You scream at those from whom you want help?
Screamers get ignored.
Bye.

What he's trying to say is DON'T USE CAPITAL LETTES IN POSTS.

In my opinion, use what ever floats ya boat!

Insert your Windows Installation disk, and boot from it.

Once in the windows Setup Screen press 'R' to repair Windows.

Log into Windows Installation by pressing the '1' key and <ENTER>

Press enter again when asked for the admin password.

Copy the two below files to the root directory.

If the rom your cd is in is say, E: and your system is on C: then type the
following,,,

copy e:\i386\ntdlr c:\ <ENTER>
copy e:\i386\ntdetect.com c:\ <ENTER>

(Change the letter e for the letter of the rom your cd is in.)

Once you have copied the two files then remove the cd and reboot.

That's my opinion, too. However, he should be aware that many, if not
most, of us here will not bother to read messages in which people
scream at us, and a question screamed at us may result in inadequate
answers and the boat will therefore sink.

Hey Ken.
Then ones that really gripe me are the ones that just put 'Help' or 'help
me'
in the subject line. Those, I don't read.

This is one of the dumbest things I have ever read!
Then this means most of the american news presenters read the
prompter that scrolls screaming lines!

Reading off a teleprompter at 10 feet or more away and reading a
newsgroup post on a monitor are two different things. Regardless of
what you may think posting in all caps on newsgroups is considered as
shouting, and for some it is harder or difficult to read. As some of
the others have said, posters can do as they please but by posting in
all caps they may very well get fewer responses as some helpers just
skip over these posts without bothering to even read them.

So is top posting :-)
A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is it such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

What is yet worse are those who bottom post in an ongoing top posted
discussion. It doesn't bother me where people post, at the top or
bottom. If they want to top post when I follow their discussion I too
post at the top, if they post at the bottom I follow them down there.
As for those who claim that top posting breaks the flow of the
conversation I can only suggest that they learn how to use a newsreader
and learn how to thread the posts. Many people think that bottom
posting is only a repetition of things already said and that all it does
is force the active participants in the conversation to scroll to the
bottom to read the follow ups. Some people dont like to read the same
stuff over and over again or scroll through previously posted material.

Which make editing the quoted material - to only that which is being
replied to - a worthwhile activity.

In Agent, all that has to be done is highlight that material before
replying.

I completely agree.

That's a feature not just of Agent, but of most, if not all,
newsreaders. Although it can be useful, to me (also an Agent user)
it's nowhere near as useful as "all that has to be done." That's
because I very often want to quote more than one bunch of
non-contiguous text. So I normally let it quote everything, and then
delete what I don't want.

My hearing is so so but even with the volume turn to the max I can't hear a
thing :)
...and for some it is harder or difficult to read.

Yes, I agree with that - this would be the only reason, really.
As some of the others have said, posters can do as they please but by

This is outright discriminatory and is violating the 'freedom-of-choice'
act...I think :)
