I have windows 98 and xp loaded on my computer. If I rormat my hard drive to
remove 98 can I reinstall xp with out paying for a new noumber?

Certainly. You can reinstall Windows XP as often as you want to or need to.
There is no restriction against doing that.

But why do you want to fomat the drive to remove XP? That shouldn't be at
all necessary.
