Carol

Have a situation where need to install patches for
printer. Patchs must be installed prior to installation
of ServicePack 2 for printer to be compatable with the
service pack.

Problem: unable to locate WindowsXP SP2 in "Add & Remove"
unable to locate in C:\windows\servicepackfiles

Please, any suggestion on how to uninstall or where to
look further.

You may not be able to uninstall SP-2.
Was SP-2 part of the original Windows XP installation?
If so, it is impossible to remove SP-2.

I'm having touble believing that this is a necessity. Can you specify the
printer make and model involved?

I'd hope to be able to simply remove the printer, get a driver version from
the manufacturer which works correctly with SP2, and just install that.
