Using the procedure 'Start-turn off computer-restart',
windows goes through the normal screens 'windows logging
off', 'saving settings', 'windows is shutting down'.
At this point, windows hangs and nothing happens!
I then have to press the reset switch on my front panel
to restart my computer.
What has gone wrong?
Can anyone help?

Hi

For shutdown/restart problems, please have a look at MVP Jim Eshelman's web site:

Have you scanned your computer for a possible virus?Check your memory and if possible increase the page-file.
