Someone has put the above subject software on a PC,
however, we want to remove it and put on a newly
purchased version and register it with Microsoft.
Can someone give me detailed instructions how to remove
the existing version. I am sure loading the newly
purchased version will not be difficult. Thank you.

You do not need to:
You can use Sysprep from the CD tools deploy cab file.
Just run it.
On reboot, it will require CD code.
