Microsoft MVP,

What is the difference between setting up networking using
the wizard vs. sharing files without using the wizard?

What additional security does the wizard add? Can you
make the same configuration manually?

And how can you tell if the network wizard has been run on
an Windows XP computer? Once you run the network wizard
to share files, does it need to be run on all other
computers who want to share those files?

Thanks,
Mark W.

The difference I've found is that the wizard is more likely to screw things
up compared to doing it manually.
