I want to know how i can make my wallpaper picture take
up the whole desktop with the words under the icons.

Now my desktop is the picture but the words under the
icon are hi-lighted in the background color.

I dont want the words under the icon to be hi-lighted
just the background picture and the words ---no color!!

Windows Xp User,

Go to System Properties, click on the Advanced tab then the Settings button
in the Performance section. Scroll down to the bottom and put a check in the
box next to Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop. Hit apply then
ok your way back out.
