I just downloaded and used the new Live Scan from
Microsoft and it wiped out all my mail in Mozilla.
There was no warning to close the program before a
scan, so I was scanning in the background and using
Mozilla. The Live Scan said that it found a coupld of
viruses and 3 infected folders and then all my mail
disappeared. Is it necessary to wipe out entire files
like that? Would it have been a bit more intelligent
if I had not had the program running? I did a search
of the hard drive, but all the data seems to have \
vanished.
