Thanks to Vista and all the protections installed, I am happy to report that
I have survived and not harmed myself or others.

Will Windows7 allow for example a web page that contains check images from a
bank (To link in MSMoney) with the images and not be so (Grand) Motherly and
protective by not allowingh MY OWN DAMN IMAGES to be displayed.

I've set Vista to allow offline images etc (Like XP), and still no help at
all from Vista.

Just a thought before I go back to OS2 Ver 3. (Just kidding).
Thanks

W7 is much more user friendly compared to vista.

even saying that, there is no guarantee that your particular problem is fixed.

I see no problem with online banking at my end, displaying checks or
whatever... something is in your setup...
I am using IE8 and befor ethan IE& and all are perfect.

They must create a Newsgroup accessible via a Newsgroup Reader, not stupid
Web interface.

Thanks for your reply.
Nice to have something working "perfectly" as is your experience.
Also using IE8. Since there just a few variables to acheive this, I am sure
I am overlooking something.

I'll follow your suggestion and look for "something".

Issue Resolved. Problem Found.
So that this post can be of help to others without a bland "it's fixed"
posting, here goes.

Yes, there are settings in IE8 (and Earlier) that affect downloads being
saved properly.

1. Turn Off InPrivate
2. Enable Java

if this fails, download and install Firefox. Do Not Import settings from
other browsers, Install with Firefox default settings.

Thanks to Patrick from CBOL.
