I have a network with win98 and win2000pro computers.
When you try to logon onto the win2000 computer from the
win98 computer you get the message "You must supply a
password to make this connection. Resource
\\computername\IPC$"

When I looked this up in the knowllege base it said
that this was caused because Net Logon was not atrted on
the win2000 computer. If I try to start Net Logon I get an
error code 3095, and it says that Net Logon does not need
to start because the computer is not part of a domain.

Is there anyway I can correct this?

Make sure all computers are in the same workgroup and that all useraccounts
exist on all computers (W2K/XP's). Got File- and printersharing loaded? Is
Netbios over TCP/IP enabled (Advanced properties of TCP/IP, tab WINS)?
