The startup time is like when the first PC came out i.e.
make a cup of coffee.
We are connecting to a windows 2000 server on a local
domain.
There is a windows utility called bootvis.exe which I
understand allows you to view and modify the boot sequence
but as of today is unavailable from Microsoft.

Try opening cmd,at the prompt type:iPV6 Uninstall
Then type:EXIT
Reboot computer,the new xp connection seems to slow xp
50% on start-up.To restart service type:iPV6 Install
