To reinstall, you need one of the following three things: 1. An installation CD (either retail or OEM) 2. A restore CD provided by the OEM who built your computer. 3. A restore partition provided by the OEM who built your computer. Since you've told us nothing about who built your computer or whether XP is a retail or OEM version, I can't answer your question directly.
