I turned on my computer and it posts but then Windows XP
starts to load it locks up and says it is missing "NTLVR"
and cannot boot? What could it be?? I need help

ntldr is missing. you will need the windows xp cd to do this....
enter your bios (press delete or f2 at the prompt when you start your
machine) and go to the boot devices section or similar. change your boot
device to become cd rom as first boot device.

save and exit set up (put your cd in). at the prompt "press any key to boot
from cd"; do it and follow the instructions ahead to select a REPAIR
installation. your files will not be deleted but the missing file will be
copied from the cd to your system.

restart.
