Anybody know a way to network xp pro and windows 98
computers in a wired or wireless way? The only hitch is
that these computers belong to a domain. I would like to
be able to send laptops out into the field wirelessly, and
be able to share files and printers on each of these
laptops. I have no problem connecting 98 to each other.
But xp to xp, or 98 to xp, I can't get to work. I'd like
to keep the users on the domain and still be able to
network them outside the office. I have given the same
usernames and passwords on both OS's, same workgroup,
taken off simple file sharing on xp, and confirmed that
NIC's and cables are fine. Any suggestions?...

u must have one HECK of a HUGE wireless network if u plan to send people out
in the "field" and still expect them to be able to conenct to your
connection - unless this field is in your backyard.

our D-link has a 350 meters indoor distance and outside upto 1200 meters.

Sorry, ihave no suuggestion on how to get this to work as this is new to
myself.
