The Windows XP welcome logon screen is missing the Administrator users. Is
this common? I know I can change to the Classic Logon to logon as the
Administrator, I just wondered if there is a way to have the Administrator
option on my XP quick logon screen?

Thanks,

David

Yes it is. Some older postings on here tell you how to do it. If you
download tweakui, that should do it too I believe.

To protect the Admin account from "newbie" users (since if the Admin account
is damaged, so it most of your Windows) the account is hidden.

If you need to access it, restart the computer, press F8 just as Windows
Starts and boot in Safe Mode, you will then be able to click the
Administrator account.
