Windows XP update not working right

Whenever I run Windows Update I click Custom so I get the links for High
Priority and Software, Optional. While it shows all the high priority
updates, whenever I click Software, Optional it simply opens up a new Windows
Update screen in the frame where it's suppose to show the available updates.

click on the
"help and support"
link as found on the
left hand pane of the window
and file a help ticket via email.

there is "free" support from
a certified Microsoft technician
exclusively for issues with
the update service.

I'm having the same problem with one of my machines. Please post a
solution if you find one, and I'll do the same.
