I sometimes not always cant get windows to turn off after
clicking the shut down box. I checked all the software
running to see if anything was up and not shutting down,
nadda. I checked all the connections and the
cursor/trackball works on everything else selected. I
looked in the knowledgebase to see if there was anything
posted on this problem and nadda. Anyone run into this
problem or have any ideas on what to try please. Thanks
Mark

I ran into the same problem and was advised to uninstall Adaptec UdfReader
as follows:
1. Start..Control Panel
2.Add/Remove Programs
3.Locate Adaptec UdfReader
4.Remove
Doing the above enabled my computer to shut down and not Restart
automatically.

Good Luck.
