Hi there! Does anyone know if Windows Task Scheduler can
terminate a program that is currently on its tasks and
can still end it regardless of the status of the program,
for example, hung/locked up/froze?

Thanks,
Neil

No, if it's hung or locked, it would have no way of ending it. Not sure you
could even schedule an end of task as the scheduler schedules tasks which I
assume end on completion.

Nonetheless, the task scheduler would have no way of ending a hung task.

Thanks for that. Not the answer I was hoping to get :)
Another question relating to this problem. Do you know
if there is a DOS command or XP Windows script command
equivalent to taskmanager to kill a program. This way, I
can schedule it to Kill the program. Thanks again.

Neil

I found it. It's the TASKKILL command in Windows. Very
handy and I suppose dangerous too. Thanks again for
sharing your MS knowledge.
