Wincows XP used to start automatically after my computer
boots. Now it pauses after bootup and requires F1 to be
pressed to continue. After pressing F1, Windows XP will
then start. Is there a way to get Windows XP to start
automatically? My E-mail address is (e-mail address removed).
Thank You.

This does not seem to be a Windows problem. You have to press F1 for
example if there is a problem with the keyboard during bootup. Can you
see an error message that prompts you to press F1?

message. After the BIOS completes the hardware
check "Press F1 to resume" appears. After pressing F1,
Window starts. I have not made any changes to the BIOS.

I would check the hardware of this computer or - if you are not
familiar with this - take it to a hardware store to have it checked.
