Windows XP start up problem

On starting up Windows XP I received a stop error messag
The system then drops me out

I cannot start up in safe mode, nor can I get the system to star
up from cd. Any Ideas???

If you are getting an error message go to Microsoft self
help and type in the message. I have had great success
with the site.

Please repost with the error message. Also include information about
your computer (OEM, specs, etc.), what changed between the time things
worked and the time they didn't, and what you've already tried.

A Stop message will lead off with a code - eg 00000D5 - in the first
line. Go to
