Windows XP start failure

Wil Noss

Windows XP will not start on my C drive. Various checks
and tests indicate Windows XP file HAL.DLL is corrupted
or missing. Can I save Windows XP without reformat and
reinstallation anew. Where can I find file HAL.DLL and
how can I install it?
