When i go to the settings for windows firewall and put it

do for it to be turnd off??

If you have a 3rd party firewall installed, Windows may recognize it, and its just telling you that your firewall software is working.

Hi

To *really* stop the Windows Firewall:

Start/Run --> services.msc

Find Windows Firewall in the list, double click on it, set
"Startup type" to Disabled (and press Stop if it is running).
