When I boot up the curser is active for my desktop but I
can't access the start menu for 2 to 3 minutes from boot.
After this time I have normal access.
PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP?

It's driving me mad.

Do you use a DSL or cable?
If you do:
1) Access Network Connections in the Control Panel
2) Select your Network Card for the high speed or LAN
connection.
3) Look for "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" and Select it.
4) Click on the properties button.
5) Put a dot in the radio button for "Use the following IP
address". NOTE: If a dot already exists here than this
help procedure is not for you thus skip the rest of this
help.
6) Add the following: IP address:192.168.0.1 and Subnet
mask 255.255.255.0.

If the above does not fix the problem, see the Startup
Section on the following site:

Hope this helps!

I have a problem similar to yours. My problem is that
the process, wscript.exe, executes for some time (2 - 3
minutes) consuming precious CPU time when I log on. Any
idea what scripts are being executed and what harm there
is if I stop the script after a few seconds?
