Windows XP shading & colors problem

My PC was fine when I turned it off last night. Turned it on tonight and some
of the colors and shading are messed. I ran virus prog and nothing. All the
colors in the title bars and windows start menu are not shaded. They are
distinctly two differant colors instead of a gradual. Also all pictures
display all weird with off colors where there should be shaded colors. Any
suggestions?

Since you haven't told us anything about your computer, here are some
general suggestions:

1. Update your video drivers. Get them from either the device mftr. or
from the OEM if you have that kind of computer (Dell, HP, Sony, etc.).

2. If updating the video drivers doesn't work, then you probably have
hardware failure of the video card. Uninstall the card and swap it out
for a known-working one. If this solves the issue, replace the video card.
