To see a list of the Services that are being loaded on your computer
when it starts up use Start - Run - MSCONFIG and go to the Services
tab.

Good luck

a more thourough and hands on apporach can be found through

Start - Run - Services.msc

**do not** change anything here unless you know for absolute certain
what changing it does, as you could potentially have an expensive
paperweight if not careful :P

as always, back up before making changes just in case ;)

I am aware of services.msc and msconfig.
But my concern is which of these start after the user logs in and which
of them start before the user logs in.
Please share some thoughts.

I am not aware of any resource which defines services in that way.

If you look at the Processes list in MSCONFIG then I think you can
safely assume that any process for which the User Name column shows
the name of the user is loaded after the user logs in. But I am not
sure how to determine when the processes with System, Local Service,
or Network Service as the user name are loaded.

Good luck
