I want to install Noryon Internet Security 2006 an Norton systemWorks Basic
2006 in my new laptop BUT Symantec tells me it will only work in Windows
2000 an Windows XP only { greater than Service Pack 3 }. This came right from
their support center on line June 28,2006.I have downloaded all the updates {
AND BOY THEIR WERE A LOT, 28 to be exact} on my new laptop and even checked
in the VIEW DOWNLOADS SECTION an did not see any download for SP3. Can
someone tell me where I need to go to get this so I can install my 2 Norton
programs? Thanks all for your help and all have a great day an weekend.JJ

There is no Windows XP. It is referring to Windows 2000 greater than SP3.

Microsoft has not issued SP 3 for Windows XP nor has it announced when
or even if a third service pack will be issued.

There is NO Windows XP SP3. The latest SP is 2. Windows 2000 want to SP4
AFAIR.....

There is no Service Pack 3 available for Windows XP.
It will likely become available sometime next year (2007).

I suggest contacting Symantec support for assistance.

There is no Service Pack 3 for Windows XP, the current Service Pack is
2. The Service Pack 3 requirement applies to Windows 2000 only, the
last Windows 2000 Service Pack is 4.
