Windows XP Service Pack 1 problems

Help...I'm trying to download the Service Pack 1 and it's
been about an hour and it seems to be stuck. It says its
finishing install and "running processes after install"
but goes no further.Any thoughts?
 
Are you on aol? If so, you have to use a browser outside of the aol
application to successfully install Windows Updates.
