Hal

I have an Ethernet laser printer and both of my computers are running
wireless PCI cards in ASUS A7n8x Deluxe motherboards. The wireless cards
get IP addresses from a router and the 3com port has an IP and subnet
staticly assigned that is i the same subnet.

I cannot figure out route print add. If I try to print the data tries to go
on the wireless. If I disable wireless the printer works fine.

Here is the IP Config.

wireless ip = 192.168.0.102
wireless subnet=255.255.255.0
wireless gateway=192.168.0.1

3com ip =192.168.0.112
3com subnet=255.255.255.0
no gateway

I know I am being dumb, but need so serious answers here.

thanks in advance.

Wrong NG...

But, you don't need to do any route entries - so long as the printer is on
the same subnet, all you need to do is ensure your printer has a static IP
and that the Port for the printer on each computer points to that IP as per
the printer installation instructions.

BTW: route print displays the entries in the routing table. It has nothing
to do with printers.........
