Windows XP restart after shutdown

To whom it may concern,

After I succesfully removed the worms Blaster and Welchia.
Using the methods providing by Symantec and installing
the patch following by that. My computer restart by
shutting down.

(I had also to remove the mblast from the registry.)

How can I solve this problem.
