Windows XP remove from domain

Hy!

I can't remove Windows XP computer from one to another domain. The
problem is, that first domin isn't availabe any more. DC is down and the
one computer left to be demoted from domain.

What can I do?

Disconnect the computer from the network and remove from the domain to a
workgroup first - using the normal method - when it asks for a
username/password - type any username you want in for the username and any
password you want for the password.

Once out of the domain and in the workgroup - connect to the network and
join the new domain.
