Windows XP Remote Procedure Call Service Failure

I just got a Toshiba satellite with XP Home Edition.

I have seen this problem consistantly happen:

I was surfing on internet (through a regular dial-up) for
a while, then got a message "Windows must shut down b/c
the remote procedure call service terminated
unexpectedly"). And the machine got shut down and
restarted.

Any ideas, guesses?
